Izak Zenou Moves into the Henri Bendel Store — Artist in Residence

Much like Eloise at the Plaza, celebrated fashion illustrator IZAK ZENOU will be moving his art studio into Henri Bendel‘s Fifth Avenue flagship store for the month of December, giving Bendel’s guests unprecedented access into his artistic process, as well as the opportunity to commission private portraits. Never before has luxury and creativity collided in this way. Izak and Bendel’s lengthy collaboration has nurtured an enthusiastic following for his Bendel Girl inspired illustrations and portraits. His bold confident line and fluid sweeps of color make his work mesmerizing and now for the first time, New Yorkers and visitors alike can have a private view of the process and Izak’s studio.

Izak’s daring move from a private studio to the bustling floors of Henri Bendel, creating a very personal salon-like setting, embodies the Bendel’s theme of the season: Fearless Creators. Along with commissions, portraits, and customization of Henri Bendel accessories, Izak will conduct his everyday work in the public eye. Guests will be able to pose for their portraits and style themselves in clothing generously provided by The Albright Fashion Library.

Izak will create his gorgeous illustrations in full view of Bendel shoppers daily through December 22nd. The studio is located on the store’s 2nd floor and guests can look in as they search for the perfect holiday gift.

Move-in day is November 29th.
