Sophie Griotto Joins Traffic!

We are launching our Fall ’18 season with a new artist! As a small agency, we are shy to add to our team. Aside from the artist’s work being exceptional, we have to, in a way, fall in love with each other. Infused with a fresh and reverent elegance, the illustrations of young French wonder-woman, Sophie Griotto, surpasses all expectations. It seems major brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Volkswagen, and Swatch agree, and we hope you will, too! As we have watched her work evolve through the years, and knowing that good things take time (and are in themselves much about timing), we are extremely pleased to announce the beginning of our creative partnership.

Distinguished by her sophisticated, fluid style—she cites Japanese ink wash painting and African dance as inspirations—she quickly rose to the top of her field, creating breezy watercolors and digital work for some of the most elite names in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. She has been featured in anthologies of the world’s most important current illustrators such as Taschen: 100 Illustrators and Illustration Now! Fashion. She also exhibits her work in galleries.

Sophie has collaborated with many important brands including Estée Lauder, Macy’s, Swatch, Caudalie, L’Oréal Paris, Bourjois, The Telegraph, Elle, L’Express, Aventura Mall, Tommy Hilfiger, Aéroport de Paris, Palais des Congrès de Paris, Lolita Lempicka, Volkswagen, Luiza Barcelos, O Boticário, Safiya, Random House, Net-a-Porter, and Comité du Faubourg Saint Honoré.
